Matt Haught is an associate professor of creative mass media at the University of Memphis. He teaches courses in graphic design for media, photography, data visualization and creative strategy.
Matt has more than 15 years of professional design experience. He has taught at the university-level since 2009. His work has included newspapers, magazines, websites, and freelance client work.
As a scholar, Matt's research focuses on the intersection of technology and everyday life, from health to media consumption. Because technology is inherently visual, this research stream has positioned Matt at the cutting edge of the application of visual research.
